Welcome to my blog
First off, welcome! Thank you for checking out my blog. A little about me and who I am. I am Robert, a husband and partner my beautiful wife Heather, I am a father of two great kids, Andrew and Isabella (Bella). I have been a Vascular Sonographer for over 16 years. For those who do not know what that is, I perform ultrasound testing of veins and arteries in the human body to determine blood flow. I am a Type 1 Diabetic, meaning, I have had Diabetes since I was 7 years old. Health, and healthcare you could say has always been a part of my life in that my father was a Registered Nurse and my mother was a Physical Therapist and I am Diabetic and in the healthcare field myself. Healthcare is not where I intended to go originally, but fate led me in this direction. To add to to it, Heather is a pharmacy technician. I have been fortunate in my life that I have not had to deal with many times where I had significant health problems (other than Diabetes), and have been able to maintain a fairly healthy lifestyle. I have been able to keep my diabetes in check and have been able to maintain a “healthy” body. Life has gotten in the way of maintaining a workout regimen, but I consider myself to get some workout when I’m at work pushing around a 500 lb. plus ultrasound system across the hospital. So, sitting here writing this, it feels like I have not come to a point. So I guess, this is basically me.

Health Product #1
Let’s start off with a big one! You’ve probably heard of Collagen and the health benefits associated with it. Well, let me tell you from personal experience, Collagen works! Some background about Collagen for those who don’t know. Collagen is a structural protein in your body that supports healthy bones, muscles, organs, skin and more. Think of it as the structural glue that keeps our bodies together! As we age, our body’s ability to produce collagen begins to decrease, which can lead to sagging skin, wrinkles, brittle hair and nails, stiffness and swollen joints. There are many types and brands of collagen out there, but the type of collagen I’m using and that I have seen improvements in mine and other’s health is Type 1 collagen. Type 1 collagen is the most abundant collagen in the human body.
For my personal experience with collagen, let me give you a brief background on me. For years I had noticed an excruciating pain in my left hip when I would try to bend my leg up to put on socks. It wasn’t until about a year and a half ago that I had it checked. I saw an orthopedic surgeon who ordered an MRI of my hip. Well turns out I had a labral tear in my hip and this was likely what was causing my pain. I sent to physical therapy to learn some exercise to help strengthen my tendons and help to reduce the pain associated with the tear. I did the physical therapy, some, but life got in my way and I didn’t follow through. I was also told I could get an injection to help with the pain, but that it would not be a permanent solution. So, I just learned to live with the pain and learned to adjust my body motion to try to avoid the pain. Well I started taking collagen in August, and now I no longer have the pain I once did when bending my leg up to put on socks, or pain when my leg over extended in the wrong direction. I have not had any repeat imaging, and I can’t tell you that my tear is not still there, but I can tell you that it is my belief that taking this collagen has helped heal my body. Not only has collagen helped me, I have several friends with photo testimonials about how this collagen has helped them (See below).
After one month of collagen. I know the lighting in the first one is bad because of the Ring photo.... but you can see the new hair growth on the right filling in that spot!!!

And these are just the external changes you can see! Just think about what is going on inside your body!!
